Can we expect to hit a target without first aiming? Can one expect to hit said target without first having the tools necessary? There is an order to establishment, my current project. Order number 1 - what is the target? Order number 2 - what tools are required? Order number 3 - how far away is it? Order number 4 - what steps can I take to move closer to said goal? Why stand 50 yards away if you don't have to be so distant.
In a world with so many different possibilities, choosing a target has been nothing more than a burden for me. It seemed as though others spun around in a circle, pointing their finger, and shot at the first one with which they made eye contact. How could someone choose, negligently, in my opinion, and still be happy after some time had transpired? I now look at myself and ask, "Are you happy?" Nothing is that simple, however; are you asking short term or long term? While I cannot belittle the steps I have taken - I do worry that they are not leading me to a goal, but rather taking me in circles.
