The Illusion of Opportunity

Ever looked into an optical illusion? Before your eyes an image is portrayed and you have no reason to contest what you see.
The beauty is when your mind is allowed to see something different. Perhaps a friend instructs and lights the path o a new image; perhaps it is you, yourself that explores a new possibility without aid.

In either scenario, one thing is common. Permission was granted.

The image changes, according to the eye of the beholder, but in reality the image remained true. What does this say about perspective?

Give yourself permission to see something you have never previously considered and watch the image take on a different form.

Holding myself in high esteem, this is where I faulted. Twas my belief that focus was my ticket to success; so I held on dearly - developed a fear of its loss.

Honing in on one or two things, they suddenly became the most important aspect of my day. If they went poorly, the disappointment was unbearable. This led to a process of only giving myself one or two chances to "get it right", and as a human was setting myself up for failure.
If the exact moment where my illusion transformed could be captured, it would be framed.
Having the ability to create opportunities, I foolishly limited myself. How grateful am I for the redemption and grace offered.
I choose to freely take of this opportunity.
