In a time of immediate information, immediate food, immediate you-name-it, the concept of waiting is becoming extinct. As a result, I believe our world is getting smaller, at least in our minds.
When looking in a microscope, there are many intricate things to view; however, it is not until distance is made the the object is made known. Neither is the better-for without seeing the intricacies, the beauty is not beheld, and without the identification, the importance is not known.
When it comes to one's journey in life, I believe the same concept applies.
Please allow a side note:
Is it wise to embark on a journey without first choosing a destination? What is your final destination and are you making the right turns to get there?
