Although an obvious deduction, seeing myself as human had not been a frequent one. Knowledge is not understanding. One can know, all in the same while, lack understanding.
It had been told me that teens and young adults view themselves as invincible and tend to act without first considering the consequences. Upon knowledge of this information, I determined not to be so naive.
Years later (now), I have to all but laugh at myself-here I am thinking myself to be invincible. Sleeping no more than 4 hours at a time, eating in a calorie deficit, strength training, and maintaining a physical job-but still dissapointed with my results. It is only now that I realize the importance of grace and its application.
First came knowledge, and then came understanding.
